Suzanne is a Senior Associate, specialising in Serious Injury and Medical Negligence Claims. Suzanne joined the team in September 2023 and brings with her over 20 years of experience as a practitioner in complex personal injury litigation. Suzanne is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a Specialist in Personal Injury and is also accredited by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) as a Senior Litigator and Brain Injury Specialist. Throughout her career, Suzanne has worked with a diverse range of clients on cases involving injuries of the utmost severity, including birth injury, fatal accidents, severe brain injury and spinal cord injury resulting in tetraplegia. Her experience spans the full range of personal injury claims includes workplace accidents, road traffic accidents and medical negligence. She has experience in working with bereaved families and with adults with incapacity and has assisted many clients to set up and manage extensive rehabilitation packages under the Rehabilitation Code, funded by advance damages payments. Over time, she has built up a network of contacts and trusted experts with whom she works to secure the best possible settlement for her clients.

Suzanne has a special interest in the impact of trauma and has undertaken additional training to become a qualified psychotherapist, completing the COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills and the PG Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling and Psychotherapy. Her experience as a trained and practising counsellor gives her a wholly unique perspective in this field and she is passionate about providing clients with empathic, trauma-aware support throughout the legal process.
