Evana Ferguson

Evana is a Senior Solicitor in our Litigation team (civil and criminal). She has worked in the general litigation department since joining Levy & McRae in 2020.

Evana appears in the civil and criminal courts across Scotland on a regular basis. 

She currently represents a core participant group of 160 individuals in the Eljamel Public Inquiry chaired by Lord Weir. She is also working on the associated civil claims.

On the criminal side, Evana represents clients in police interviews, case management hearings, pleading diets, bail undertakings, and intermediate diets. 

On the civil side, Evana’s main  focus is personal injury work. She is experienced in both pursuing and defending claims in the All-Scotland Sheriff Personal Injury Court. Evana is experienced in resolving claims pre-litigation, and in litigating claims in the All-Scotland Sheriff Personal Injury Court and the Court of Session. 

Evana’s civil litigation practice is broad. In addition to handling personal injury cases, she also deals with the following: medical negligence, criminal injuries claims, canon law, contract, human rights, media, professional disciplinary, and firearms licensing. She has dealt with a number of high-profile cases. 

Evana also deals with Sheriff Appeal Court matters.
