Andrew Ratter

Andrew Ratter is an Associate in our litigation team. He has a varied practice advising clients on contentious civil and criminal matters across Scotland. He has a particular focus on insurance litigation, judicial review, regulatory and wildlife crime, and professional regulation.

He is regularly instructed by solicitors and other professionals facing serious misconduct investigations. He acts for private civil and criminal clients, for police officers for on and off duty issues, for policyholders in disputes with insurance companies, and for major Scottish public interest groups in bringing judicial review of administrative decisions of local and national governments.
He joined Levy & McRae in 2019 following a traineeship spent with the City of Edinburgh Council Legal & Risk.
